Taipei 101 is an iconic skyscraper located in the central government and business district of Taipei, Taiwan.

From its completion in 2004 until the middle of 2010, it stood as the tallest building in the world. As a global landmark, Taipei 101 has not only received worldwide recognition for its size, but it has also received international acclaim for its more recent dedication to green building operation and maintenance.

In July 2011, the 101-story office tower received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED): Existing Building Operation and Maintenance (EBOM) Platinum certification, an award at the highest level in the LEED rating system.

BAC is proud to be a part of this occasion with 51 tanks (36,450 TH) of BAC’s Ice Thermal Storage and 23 cells Series V as an integral part of TAIPEI 101’s cooling system.
